This is Nela and Bruno! They convert dog food into poo at a rate that was once believed by science to be impossible — making every gram of kibble count.
Doggy Portions started with a simple, annoying question: how much should I actually be feeding these two? Every calculator online either buried the answer behind a six-step form, spoke in clinical shorthand, or asked for our dogs’ names and then forgot them the moment we closed the tab.
So this one is built on three rules:
- Give the answer fast. Weight in, estimate out. Refine it only if you want to.
- Be honest about what it is. A starting estimate from the vet-standard formula — always a range, always paired with “check with your vet.” Never a prescription.
- Actually remember your dog. Profiles saved on your own device, no account, no tracking. (That part’s coming next.)
No AI-generated dog photos, no stock-photo golden retriever gazing into the middle distance. Just a tool made by someone who actually has to buy the kibble.
